The degree of organization and power consolidation implicit in the societies we participate in and are subject to… is so overwhelmingly well established, so entrenched in every aspect of our lives…that the idea that we can just sort of magically, disorganizedly, overcome that… with ‘spiritual’ conversations or narratives… seems to me to be absurd, wrong minded, and almost lethally naive.
The forces we oppose are so astonishingly sophisticated that unless we can table a similar degree of organization, functionality, and power… we are going to both fail, and keep telling the wrong stories about why this keeps happening. The answer is simple: you cannot meet a nearly unstoppable force with mystical spirit narratives, songs, and ceremonies.
We need to pioneer and put into active play… something at least as organized as that which we want to render obsolete. If we cannot produce something demonstrably powerful, totally effective, and deeply functional… the survivors will be both enslaved and crying in our beer while we make up stories about why it failed, later.
