Along with synchronization, our common experience of being in the world depends upon a variety of what we might understand as feedback loops.
Feedback can be exquisite; and much of our interest in narratives and plotlines actually depends upon meaningful feedback, and the iteration of loops that reward the spectator, over time.
However, in states of unexpected decoherence or desyncrhonization, the ‘harmonies’ of this process can transform… into cacaphonies. Unregulated, disregulated, and disoriented … expressions. Of what used to be coherence.
By learning to recognize and understand the nature of feedback in our own minds and bodies, and remaining aware of it when thinking about our consciousness or dreaming… we can begin to learn to relate with this inherent aspect of our human interiority… more intelligently and successfully.
