I think our models misrepresent the principles pointed in the general direction of by ‘fractals’ In ‘fractals’, we see self-similarity across orders or layers. But in nature, something vastly stranger is going on, each layer is ‘twisted’ in some way and re-expresses meaningful and purposeful figurations of those before and after (and above/below) it.

There is no way to represent this in the merely algorithmic and representational forms traditional to our minds and experience… except… perhaps… the uniquely embodied ladder a human or animal does not merely represent… but »is.

“For their hands shall be one. And shall have one unifying body, each, a palm. And this shall have four working members, each with three segments. And there shall be a thinking member, having two segments. And the count of this will be 7. One for the unity…

… and there shall be a wrist. A gap between the hand and that which instances it upscale… and across that wrist there shall be not merely digits… but eyes, a mind, ears, a mouth, teeth, a nose…

senses that are but barely implicit in the hand.

And their bodies shall be as the hand of a living being. Being one, yet having still a unifying body, the torso. And having one thinking member, with two segments. And there find also four working members, each with three segments, and those segments end in … stars.

And so it is that there is a »second wrist, which is invisible. At the order of the body. And as with the hand, it connecteth not to the thinking member… but to »the unifying body. And as with the body it leads to that which the body is an instance of. And as the hand is to the body regarding senses… the body is to the regarding… »abilities of thought, action and relation…”

In nature… the ‘orders of scale’ are not merely scale, but frameworks of embodiment, new degrees of freedom, acess to relationships, senses, faculties, abilities… and..
