Information is presently one of the most powerful nonphysical weapons that can be cheaply and effectively deployed and directed against entire populations.

Right now, we are experiencing the 3rd significant wave of its evolution and propagation… via social networks like facebook, instagram and twitter.

The United States (a now oxymoronic title for a nation so factionated as to present a drugged victim for nearly any capable enemy or predator, including those internal to our nation)… is a high-value target, and its own citizens are being converted to ‘the ammunition’ in wars they are incapable of detecting, let alone responding intelligently to.

In order to understand the nature or quality of information, one has to be capable of understanding its origins, its structure, how and if it was or can be validated, and »who profits or prospers when it is distributed.

Effectively, less than .0001% of our population possesses those skills. So, when they distribute what they think of as useful or important ‘information’, what is almost always going on, today, is the opposite of that intention. They are distributing weaponized nonsense, whose purpose is to mislead, convert, confuse, factionize… or directly kill.

Until and unless we develop systems together that defend and protect us from such processes, we shall, as individuals and collectives… fall prey to tactical adventurism that nearly none of us are skilled enough to recognize, let alone resist.

But it is within our power, right now, to establish systems intelligent enough to defend us from these incursions, and to help those who are capable and interested… to »become more intelligent whenever we relate with information online»… instead of hemorrhaging the relatively modest intelligence we are ordinarily capable of in our interactions with the modern contexts we inhabit and contribute to.
