Circumstances: Our Stance in the Circle of Life

There are many different “we” groups; but there’s one at the top of the circle that collects all humans into a single group. For at least the last 150-300 years, that group has been obliterating the environment, and continuously doubling down on that destruction.

The present situation is not likely to ‘blow over’ or to represent a single ‘black swan’ (Taleb) — but rather, an ongoing cascade of them. I here reflect upon some related matters and suggest a direction forward.
