I here discuss topics related to Phillip K. Dick’s story V.A.L.I.S. (and his Exegesis) as related to the supertopic of contact with Nonhuman Intelligence (and describe my own 9-month experience of contact with an NHI). I speculate that our own minds are, moment-to-moment, originating in this form of contact, though we are generally unaware of this.
