Science publishing has been ‘infected’ with a variety of serious problems for a long time now; this isn’t necessarily ‘a problem in science’; it’s a cultural problem that produces bizarre, non-scientific assertions and claims which, over time, may be noticed or corrected… but are most often overlooked. A vast portion of scientific papers in biomedical disciplines are later shown to have been erroneous or the assertions in the papers misfounded.

There is a huge story here, underlying these issues. Many of the ‘facts’ believed by both researchers and medical professionals… are not only not facts, they are wrong… because the science that underpins the perspectives involved was wrong, often right out of the gate.
