Part of why I became interested in FB is because I was deeply aware of the deleterious impacts and consequences it would have, and I wanted to study the environment first-hand in order to experience its dangers and determine how we might build an actual social network that mitigated or transformed them into opportunities and benefits for everyone involved. I do have a model of such a network, which I refer to as the Knowledge Amp.

And we did it anyway.””
