What are the origins of Political Correctness? You might be surprised… to learn more about this topic, because its origins are nothing like its apparent public face… I should mention that this commentator has specific concerns which are expressed in biases of preference and rejection… nonetheless, there’s a problem with the entire charade, and part of the problem is that it begins in the academy… another is it invents victims of things that actually never really happened. Or it invents new contexts of self-and-other victimization. This doesn’t mean we should do away with the entire bank of related ideas, but rather that we must approach them with care, skepticism, and creative mutual exploration.
