∞ I have long theorized that a vastly larger portion of our ‘brain’ activity is associated with the GUT which everyone has been mostly ignoring. There are babies born ‘acephalous’, meaning essentially they have no brain at all. Yet some survive 1-2 years, which should be impossible. But isn’t. Some can even smile… we do not yet really understand the brain. Or the nature of its emergence from and relations with the body.

We have a LOT more to learn about what a brain is and is not. We are infants acting like gods because we have machines, but the fact is: as much as we seem to have learned is nearly nothing at all compared to what is there.

Additionally, it was directly demonstrated to me that many forms of what we consider ‘damage’ are actually advancement. We are operating under the illusion that ‘more is better’ or even ‘health is better’, when, in fact, we cannot tell which more is more, when less is more, or when damage is advancement.
