It should be formally impossible to convince any human being or group that injecting irredeemable poisons and radioactive waste into the water table with a technology that produces earthquakes as a result is anything short of catastrophically stupid. Fracking is one of the boldest attacks on life on Earth ever conceived by your species. Make no mistake: the gun is pointed at you. When your collective intelligences start litigating in order to acquire the rights to assassinate the future of living beings and your world, you can be certain of one thing: you have about no time at all to notice and correct this. The reason is simple. Your collectives have become rabid and will proceed to attack you and every other living thing with the express intention of converting you to dead terrain and products. Each move you ignore ratchets the noose tighter around the neck of life on Earth, and with each ratcheting, the road back becomes exponentially more unlikely. If you destroy 50% of some living thing or place or symmetry, you have to increase it by 200% just to get back to where you went stupid. With human intelligence, which is directly affected by environmental shock, this figure becomes not only exponential, but absurd. Rapidly, too. Very rapidly. If you allow fracking to proceed, you can be certain of this: the damage will come out of your own lives, minds, health and hope of a survivable future. There is no form of energy worth that. There is no such thing as ‘profit’ in that situation and there never will be. The fact that this can even be disputed is a signal that the gravest forms of human greed and ignorance have become stridently aggressive. They must be stopped, now.
