So glad I did not have to write this myself.

Culture whores — male or female — are not role models.

They are toxic predators.

And their diseases are shatteringly contagious.

In fact … we all pay to be infected… and then… celebrate the disease as if it were…. ’empowerment’? [ adjective supplied by readers ]

I would also mention that it is our children who »really take the damage here. And they are not incredibly capable of discernment in the domain of role models…

P.S: Apparently people both hate this author (who probably is an asshat) — and adore Beyonce — so much that you might lose some friends for re-posting it. I did. Not a problem… in fact, a benefit — I am happy to be rid of electro-people who are ignorant and trivial enough to ‘fake punish’ me for agreeing with the essay.

We weren’t friends before, we aren’t friends now, and they are merely outing themselves as jerkish. So if this post filters them from my fb friendlist… I consider that a cleanse.

I read a lot of authors that write things I do not agree with. I would probably disagree with a lot of what this guy writes. Nonetheless, I agree with this. Wholeheartedly.
