“You may have an opinion on climate change, evolution education, stem-cell research, and science funding… but do you have the background knowledge necessary to promote your senses of these things beyond the status of uninformed opinion?”

I don’t usually do this sort of thing, but I got wrapped up in this little science quiz on the CSM. It’s an interesting and diverse series of questions, I got 70%. Partly, however, I was aided by too many hints that had nothing to do with science, and had to do with other topics I am familiar with. The reason I enjoyed it was both the sense of being able to test my knowledge to some modest degree, but also to test what I hadn’t yet learned… so I was actually really interested in my mistakes, so that I could correct them.

The test gives you a little readout at the end that shows your performance on each question… I found it worth the few minutes it took to wander through it…
