“It is at once ironic and implict that we might expect examples of uncommon communal intelligence… and perhaps direct assistance or care… from Satanists. Especially in a situation where the atmosphere is filled with urgent declarations of hate, ignorance, rhetorical deception, and advertising — all orbiting ‘religion’.
Yet, fortunately, here some is… and, in general, I have to admit, that more than a few of the most intelligent (relationally, intellectually, ecologically, creatively and communally) people I know… are, essentially, Satanists.
This in no way implies that those I know are indicative of any specific cohort, and there are thousands of ‘Satanists’ who are neither intelligent nor articulate, but associate instead with some form of incoherence that manifests in their inability to relate with anyone or anything kindly, intelligently, or humanely.
There is nothing surprising, however, about the virality of the communiques here in question… they ‘have the factors’ that ‘make for good contagion’, and there’s something we can learn from that, too.”
