The problem with nearly everyone with an opinion is shockingly simple:
Most people cannot tell when a statement »cannot be true. Even if they are saying it.
Conspiracy theories are a cognitive disorder that either invent an idea and then religiously prosecute it, or replace actual problems that they are involved in generating with elaborate fantasies that are less interesting than what is actually and obviously happening.
