Just for a moment, forget about science and all forms of religion or metaphysics. They will still be there when you want them back. But for now, set them aside a bit. You can use them as mirrors off to the side if you wish, but »keep them off the center stage for a moment. Refuse to accept any explanations from them. Once that is done, try to understand something simple, something we can learn together and explore without any extra nonsense or extrinsic authority because »we are nature, and nature is the source of all human abstractions of knowledge. We have the wrong ideas about what ‘space’ (distinction) and time (temporal displacement) are and mean. And when I say wrong? I mean completely wrong. Our concepts of them are absurd, dangerous, debilitating and ridiculous. Correcting them even slightly results in sudden developmental acceleration towards prodigy and (intellectual and relational) superfunction. That is our actual nature. Our languages and cultures damage or ‘circumcise’ critical developmental senses and faculties during the processes of our enlanguaging and enculturation. It’s not precisely a conspiracy, our parents and cultures are just reiterating »what happened to them. But we can retrieve the assets we arrived with, and the results of those retrievals are unthinkably profound. What we call space is not precisely separation; it is an exceptionally profound array (a growing array, actually, and we are involved in causing new branches and evolutions) of methods of intelligence that require different ‘modes’ of distance to produce new modes ‘of evolutionary unity and momentum’. The whole idea is so astonishing that when you actually begin to understand it… it is beyond the most advanced of all human ideas or concepts and strongly hints at the presence of a divine being, or unity-body of intelligence and awe-inspiring sophistication. Modes of distinction are modes of intelligence and potential for its evolution. The reason is that new forms of unity arise from new modes of distinction (space)! Time is another mode of this, with even more astonishing properties. To get a hint about these, imagine that each organism is a unique ‘bubble’ of time, which is relationally entangled (uniquely, from its position) with all other bubbles. Now just realize that ‘1 year’ is actually 7 billion human life-years (that’s actually 7 billion unique years) and that all of these ‘relate’ with one another… uniquely. That’s a hint about the first aspect of temporal correction. The second is this: there is a temporal superposition that belongs to each individual organism. What this means is a position ‘above’ linear time, where all moments comprise an accessible ‘constellated unity’. I believe this is immediately apparent during the experience we call dreaming, and is related to experiences that either are or are imagined to be ‘premonitions’. This means that your entire lifespan is ‘already available’ to some aspect of your mind and faculties. More, it implies that the experience of linear time is an artifact of some aspect of our relational position, rather than a concrete reality as we and our sciences pretend. I have good reason to suspect that our ‘lifespan’ has a similar aspect to a ‘dreamspan’ where, within the context it is entangled in, it ‘appears to us to be a long, linear sequence’ when, in fact, it is something so brief and bizarre that the sudden apprehension of its real nature would either shatter our minds or… advance us into realms of awareness far beyond what is ordinarily understood as mortal. I think our lifespan happens instantaneously, all at once, from a perspective ‘just above’ our apparent immersion in linearity. More, were we introduced to concepts, language and ideas that demonstrate this… we would begin to ‘learn’ (and recover) the associated faculties that ‘religion’ wants to sell us back relatively silly representations of as ‘gifts of the spirit’ and so on. But we do not need false authorities selling us broken representations of what we are already a billionfold more than. What we ache for and require is each other, our world, and direct access to our true nature and ordinary human faculties, faculties which, in nearly every case, were amputated, distorted, lied about, denied, obscured or simply overlooked… in our rush to join the ‘adult cultures’ that, as children seemed like gods, and as adults, are represented by Science, Religion, Language, Rationality, and Philosophy. These are not necessarily intrinsically ‘bad’ (there are some exceptions that may well qualify), but they are tyrannical and debilitating when they acquire the inflated authority we too often grant them. Retrieve the nature you brought with you into human birth. It exceeds all language, culture, science and religion so spectacularly that, were it to be even slightly revealed, they would be destroyed and remade…in »our image… which is, indeed, the image of Nature herself.
