I am fascinated and appalled by meme-based false activism on FB to the degree that I have made a video about it. The big names, @[7642602143:274:Mother Jones], @[83865976093:274:Truthout], @[100064809277888:2048:AlterNet], Sustainable Man, and at least a thousand memef*ck’d newsnests are doing absolutely nothing but spewing memes, ‘news’ and fear-and-helplessness inducing stupor. Imagine my surprise when I found this page this evening where, along with a few memes, there is actual content, opportunities to create change, fellowship, and something actually happening.

We have to become the difference between slacktivism and revolution. Part of that means outing the pretenders and supporting real revolution, which must be a part of our daily lives and mind, instead of the parahypnotic mega-copying of passively malignant electrodrool.
