“A “fixed mindset” assumes that our character, intelligence, and creative ability are static givens which we can’t change in any meaningful way, and success is the affirmation of that inherent intelligence, an assessment of how those givens measure up against an equally fixed standard; striving for success and avoiding failure at all costs become a way of maintaining the sense of being smart or skilled.

A “growth mindset,” on the other hand, thrives on challenge and sees failure not as evidence of unintelligence but as a heartening springboard for growth and for stretching our existing abilities. Out of these two mindsets, which we manifest from a very early age, springs a great deal of our behavior, our relationship with success and failure in both professional and personal contexts, and ultimately our capacity for happiness.”

Our minds are not possessions and they are not states.

You are not smart or stupid. What we have is flow-based emergence phenomenon. In simple language: you become an expression of your own powers within a field of relational invitations. You are a genius where that is supported and invited, you become an idiot where that is demanded by the context and environment.

Each human being is an absolute prodigy. Every one. What we experience, however, is less than 1 10,000th of our abilities because the contexts and cultures we belong to intentionally cripple, deny, defraud, misframe, and openly lie to us, about us. This invites reactive self-harming… the opposite of mind, insight, awareness and intelligence.

In any context where we are mutually supported by intelligence AS context… we become superfunction together. And this is part of the reason why our cultures and the ideas and habits they infect us with cripple us…

… so we can be sold roles as spectators, ‘fans’, consumers… and the painful opposite of the hundreds of forms of intelligence that we are endowed with at birth.

When we change the context to one that invites and rewards each person’s unique intelligence assets (and corrects the falsehoods that currently rule most minds)… every person becomes a genius, and this, in groups… is magnified explosively… just like in a symphony, sports team, research group… or dolphin pod.

We must invent contexts that allow our naturally existing assets to be corrected, discovered, developed, rewarded and explored.
