So, you know, they tell you stuff about time. Right. Like, for example, that our calendars are good. Correct. Accurate. Now, you can have a totally accurate map, and die because you got absolutely lost in it. You -could not longer see the terrain- and so the difference between the map and the terrain… kills you. Dead.

Now here are a few things about time. First, it is implied it is a ‘universal field’ when this is -barely- the case and -only- in a highly abstract way and form. It is, instead, a -local- and an -extended relational- situation. Let me explain a few examples that will help you.

We are scripted to superficially (and thus meaningfully) suppose that ‘1 year’ is about the same for everything when this is actually -nothing like the truth-. An infant may experience the equivalent of 50 years of adult development in a single year. That is not ‘one year’. At all. Expose an infant to a neurotoxin? You just did the equivalent of bathing an adult in it for -50 years-. See the difference? See how -important- this difference is to our own environmental and developmental health?

The lifespan of the Mediterranean fruitfly varies between ~28-54 days in Summer and 60-116 days in Winter. The Bristlecone Pine may live beyond into and beyond its 3rd millenium.

The bacterial reproductive cycle takes ~30 minutes. A eukaryotic cell takes 20-50 hours. In your body you have about 500 billion of the former and 50 billion of the latter. You have so many viruses that the number would be absurd. Their ‘rate of relational existence’ is astonishing. But here’s the thing.

You are to time? As a star is to -light-.

You heard me right. Living beings are -time stars-. Think about how much temporal relation occurs -just as your body- in a single second. Let me put this in perspective for you: to accurately simulate the relational activity of a single second of a single cell would require -more computing power than our entire species has ever assembled-. But you -are- over 550 billion such organisms — and we have ignored -all of their relations beyond your body-. How ‘long’ is one second, again?

We -emit, receive, modulate and recursively re-found unthinkably complex relational temporatia-… we cannot stop. And so…

If you have a world with a single human being, and it travels around its Sun one time… that is 1 human life-year. If you have 7 billion humans on that planet?

That is 7 -billion- human life years. And that figure ramifies relationally… in our biosphere… in a way that… recursively… generates actually -temporal overflow- so that… around here?

Time is moving so fast, and growing so fast that… every once in a rare while?

It has to -catch up to itself-…

And we are the children of this story. Here. Now.

Can you spare a little time to retemporalize our intelligence together?

I can. Because when they -steal the meaning of time- and bind the prison that results to the wrist with which you -dream-… something has gone poisonously wrong with human intelligence.

We’re the repair team.
