We’ve got it backwards, o companions: Those most interested in erasing our rights, are those who dictate them to us (whilst smugly offering to ‘conserve’ them). Similarly, those who have the greatest interest in obliterating and poisoning our environment, are telling us what ‘protecting the future’ means. It gets worse: those with the greatest interest in destroying our health, are those we depend upon to define, protect and regulate it. And those who have the greatest vested interest in keeping us ignorant and subservient to them are those who define and deliver our social educational opportunities. The people we pay to protect our environment are burning it down for kicks and profit.

This is effectively like having a rapist for a slave-master who tells you who you can sleep with.
