The American people -could- be catalyzed into a force capable of throwing off the increasingly tyrannical yoke of their now lethal government, but this is extremely unlikely for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that our present modes and forms of government in the United States cannot work properly — and therefore they must be -replaced-, not simply repaired. I think it will take grave circumstances indeed to endow the fattened American sheep with the necessary dignity, conviction, intelligence, and unity to take on and accomplish such a mandate as rapidly as the immediate necessity demands. In any case, their government now embodies paradigms and purposes too decrepit to be repaired; and the basic economic, legal and philosophical underpinnings upon which it is based have become draconian, hidebound, repressive, and cruelly self-aggrandizing. This government must be completely reforged.
