The US Military, Prison and Security apparatus is a ‘dominant, invisible nation’ with a private culture whose nature is crude, vicious, and opposed in general to the humane culture our citizens and environments require for survival and the possibility of fulfillment.
The ‘other’ citizens of the United States, our children, and the beleaguered remnants of our natural environment must compete for resources, infrastructure and survival with their own ‘security’ subcultures which have and continue to grow more aggressive by fomenting fear. And in this competition, our own people must lose. Their lives, their futures, their health. Their education. Their environment. And pay every possible price for the privilege.
Think about this carefully. The future of more than our nation depends upon our capacity to recognize and resolve this catastrophe. Now.
