And I will suggest that stars are not accidents… they are nodes in a web, and that web is so profoundly energetic, transentient, and transmissive that we possess no metaphor capable of projecting its profundity, reality, and sophistication into our minds.

Those are not accidents or ‘light sources’. Those are … nodes where transentience has collected and appears… as glowing matter.
