It’s strange that we frame intelligence, wisdom or knowledge as a possession — something someone ‘has’. This is never my experience. At all. I think that’s mistaken. These things are -elicited by relation- and any set of participants can generate wildly unique depths and opportunities, if they are aware of these potentials. What happens is this: in the enthusiasms that arise from direct relation (or imagining such relation) another kind of intelligence is born. A shared intelligence whose potentials know no real limits. Thus it is that two or more people, willing to learn, will learn what neither of them might otherwise glimpse or ‘teach’.
