I discovered that when disabled people need immediate care or assistance they are generally referred to lawyers. This is like discovering your house is on fire, calling the fire department, and being referred to jewelers — in the hope that if you can afford the jewels, and wear them to show your wealth, then the fire department will come. Of course, you and your entire family will be dead by then, but the point wasn’t to rescue you… it was to make law.
