And so, after a time, we stopped. We were no longer willing to do it. None of it. We decided then upon a course of action. We acquired old, mechanical cameras and equipped them with films appropriate to their requirements. To these cameras we attached modern spatial sensors like those used in parking cars. We then wore sophisticated full-coverage bodysuits that made us blind. There were protections for the head, elbows, and knees. We had futuristic gel-shoes whose gait was absolutely silent. There were five of us. We had earphones inside the bodysuits connected to the proximity sensors. In this fashion, though blind, we could navigate terrains carefully, like slow, walking bats. Each of us was transported to a randomized location on the globe. At night, in the darkness, we would take pictures. After a time. We would travel slowly, blind, and, every once in a while, we took pictures. When the rolls were full, we stored them in a special cabinet. We were to live where we landed. We decided then. The film would be supplied. We wore black suits. We took black pictures no one would ever see. We stored the roles in orderly fashion. And so, too, the film. We were no longer willing. To these cameras we attached. Five of us. Earphones inside the randomized location of black pictures. Absolutely silent. We would travel slowly. For the head. For the elbows. Modern spatial sensors. No one. Would. Ever. See.
