If we advance and amalgamate our intelligence with the same fervor we portray our fashions, fetishes and product allegiances we could probably establish something vaguely resembling the future we were expecting. Not to mention one we might survive. It’s interesting which communications gestures get valued (particularly here); they tend to be those belonging and familiar to the least common denominator — and that means developmental regression. We’ve been -crawling- backwards in the wake of our technological revolutions. We must now stand, together, and take the first steps forward in too many generations to count.
