I just saw someone disappear, right in front of my eyes. Now, it seems impossible, and maybe it was (and the effect was uncanny, and it happened outside my window in broad daylight). The feeling was creepy, and fun. But I do not actually think she disappeared. I think it was a perceptual anomaly. An excellent one, however. It really seemed that one moment she was there… and the next? Gone. With nowhere to have gone to…
