In our universe, light is a wave, and contributes to the possibility of ‘seeing’ which is the primary metaphor of mind (for most sighted people). It ‘collapses’ when ‘interfered with’ by sentience — because sentience is its own flow component. In a sister universe, there is an ‘inner wave’ that is not illumination but -intelligence-. It collapses into the activity of minds. You are a collapsar of the wave that is light’s mysterious twin, and the [redacted] of this wave is your mind. But you participate directly in the uncollapsed wave that is transentience. In fact, -the uncollapsed wave- is your nature. This is, perhaps, what the term ‘enlightenment’ can be understood to refer to. Direct, apersonal participation in the uncollapsed wave. Obviously ‘an individual’ cannot experience this fully because to be one is to collapse the wave function of transentience… into personal sentience.
