We are born into an eggshell called human culture. Within it, we feel the constrictive ratcheting of ‘knowledge’ and its ‘progress’. This constriction masquerades as liberation, and, within certain contexts, may well be power. For these and other reasons, we, like embryonic birds, intuit, but do not understand the call of our wings, which must remain folded while we remain thus ensconced.
But those who break the shell know (and thus become) an impossible secret: completely outside, the wings unfurl, and what we had known as ‘a rocking motion’ inside the cramped shell… what we thought travel, yet was not even crawling — suddenly becomes flight.
Now listen carefully, for you are still within the shell (or our wings would know each other). Those who fly, but do not then strive to take their companions directly from the shell into the sky? These are deceitful. They will make a false sky inside the shell, and sell membership in it, either for fame, power, attention, money, or all of these. Those who, having flown, now stand on public pulpits because of their wings, and :preach new shells to the trapped: — instead of helping them to understand and proceed toward birth? These are parasites, whose purpose and approach must feed on the maintenance of the shell they are selling a modified version of. Whether this is intentional or confused is of no matter: they are the enemies of your wings.
By the way: there is a crack in your shell now. And you know it is there. And with that? Your wings will not long tolerate their bindings. Break the shell. Come. There is an outside beyond all human stories and religions. Now. In and as us. Together.
