fb regularly and widely employs subtle hypnotic techniques that appear relatively innocuous at first glance. They seem like ‘nothing more than’ simple questions. But within a simulation matters take on meanings and functions they otherwise would not ordinarily acquire.

fb is actively training us in ways that benefit them, and keep us apart, or render us as commerce-targets (or victims). And how we respond, affects not only our intelligence, but our ability to be socially intelligent together.

When they ask you ‘if you know that person outside of fb’… think about answering yes, whenever you have intelligently decided to accept a friend request. Because any other answer? It’s absurd.
