“The deadliest criminals on Earth are almost never discovered or punished. They are, in short, the researchers and engineers who empower collectives that catalyze and pursue goals resulting in widespread atrocity.

The people who build the bombs and weapons. The people who make the ‘medicines’ which are in our drinking water. The scientists of Dow Chemical, Monsanto, and Bayer, who have ripped a hole in the anciently conserved biospheric genome in order to pour rapidly evolving death into the rift.

The people who made the oil platforms. The people who destroyed the social and educational infrastructures in their own nations in order to prosecute fictional wars of profit and delusion abroad. Those who poisoned the deserts and homelands of others with weapons containing radioactive waste. The frackers. And the list goes on. The politicians in their pockets. The workers who ‘just want jobs’, but are happy to burn down the rainforests for a couple of pots of coffee.

You want to punish a drug dealer whose misbehavior affects 80 people but not a well-paid scientist or engineer or CEO whose misbehavior affects 6 billion, for 12 generations? You want to cage a rapist, but you will celebrate the monstrous rapes of entire continents of human lives and whole epochs of their futures as progress?

Empty your prisons. There is a hidden population more deserving of those cages. You, and all those who will prosecute the parking violation while the incineration of a planet goes unheeded or celebrated. Yes. You see, it is -your work and cash- that are creating these issues. Now. You are -working to become your own victims-. How can you protect your children from the effects of your own participation in a society of rape and murder dressed up as victory? Seriously.

Indeed, if you do not stop the invisible criminals who are ripping your minds, lives and world apart, your efforts against the visible criminals will be revealed as little more than a dog biting its own teeth. An irony implacable, and, believe me, inexplicable to future generations who will look back on us as a deadly riddle they must solve in order to avoid its repetition.

Set the criminals in your prisons against those in your corporations. Hell, the ones you have in cages would be more compassionate and probably even more intelligent than the ones you dressed in $8,500.00 suits.
