“When I awaken in the morning my mind is so happy that it does this little intelligence parade. I love this. It’s like getting a full-on celebration from an entire nation upon waking. There is epic band music (totally inspiring), all sorts of crazy artists showing off, speakers intoning the words of wisdom not only from the past but for the future… I wish… I guess I just wish I could give other people a taste of this. I can just basically spectate and my mind will teach me more than I would ordinarily learn in a week. But I think if everyone knew about this it might backfire. They would be too excited to go to sleep at night. Besides, our species would become intelligent, and that is clearly not on the agenda — and might even prove catastrophic.”
