It’s true. Anyone can make up a new word. But transentience isn’t just a word I made up. It’s something we can do. At will. Together. It’s our nature, and it’s hidden from us by the models and ideas — the religions and the science — we’ve been sold. Not that they are all bad, but they are badly incomplete and in too many cases pretend to be absolute or nearly so.
Well, they aren’t, in fact, both of them are actually -artifacts- of our transentience that are vying to =replace it= with themselves. In order to succeed, the -both- must dramatically reduce our expectations. The way this is accomplished is by presenting models of our minds and abilities that are less than .0000000001 of the facts, but masquerade as ~87% of the facts. Thus we believe ourselves shadows, and, over time, become them.
Transentience has a simple meaning: sentience-sharing. It’s a sensing, intelligence and knowledge -amplification game- and it’s the nature of how we relate, when we are doing more than ‘language’ or ‘knowledge’. Children do it all the time, it’s why we fall in love, and there are aspects of it that are so astonishing they make sex seem rather boring in comparison.
It’s the nature of our nature, and our relationship with and in and as nature. We are not merely sentient. We never were. They sold us less, and caged us in a language insufficient to our actual abilities. And then, we were continually sold crude replacements for what had been hidden, stolen, lied about, co-opted, or destroyed.
That game is over. Now.
