Seeing isn’t based only on the presence of the mechanics. Nor is scent. I have seen without my eyes on more than one occasion. Whether this could happen if my eyes were -gone- I do not know yet. But I know for a fact that one can -train- seeing in a variety of ways… ways that -expand on the meaning of this word unexpectedly- … and other senses too, familiar and not… which means… we can train ourselves to have experiences and senses… never before ‘discovered’… or allowed. This is our nature. Not to ‘have’ senses… but to ‘be’ the development of them.
