“Are you a vegetarian? Do you like to kill animals for sport? Would you hunt with a gun, bow, or animal? Because if you are either vegetarian or you do not believe in hunting, and if you own (or keep) a cat — you must keep your housecat indoors… because it is hunting. And not for food. For sport. 24/7.
If you keep or own a housecat, and that cat is outdoors, you are hunting. Not for food. For sport. Killing creatures for … no reason, other than being a killing machine. By proxy. Think about your cat, because nature cannot contain its inherent ardor for senseless murder.
Keep it indoors, or at least, expose it to nature in such a way that it doesn’t do to ecosystems what it did to that couch leg. Seriously. Letting your cat rip lives apart because it is made that way is a bad idea for everything on earth — especially you and your cat.
And, as long as we’re here, I hope you’ll pass this on, because it is a lot more important than your cat pictures can ever possibly become.”
