“It is astonishing that modern Americans are entirely unaware that their systems of consensus and government, existing as shattered and parasitic remnants of systems originally organized for purposes that are either extinct or have evolved into monstrosities, are explicitly incapable of serving, protecting, or otherwise aiding their constituents.

Observe the reactions of ‘the common citizen’ to the abject failures of the systems they have become the subjects of: in most cases, instead of recognizing the source of the problem and reorganizing their republic and its organs to resolve it, they seek, produce and persecute scapegoats — expending precious cooperation and resources in manic fits of atrocity and confabulated retribution. These are later re-framed as heroic and publicly celebrated as momentous victories.

Modern American citizens will watch their lives and world torn apart by their own government, all the while blaming each other and any other scapegoats they manage to locate or produce. They will commit their own efforts to being destroyed this way, together, all the while never suspecting it is their own hand attacking them.

I wonder what would happen if we could break the trance by which they’re bound… but, perhaps more significantly, I intend to find out.”
