People who want to decide if god ‘exists’ or not are just as confused as if they wanted to discover if wetness exists outside of moisture. It should be obvious that there are many features of reality which neither exist nor do not exist. In fact, most features of reality might be understood this way. Such features of ‘reality’ are either created or invoked by our participation. If we go looking for them as researchers instead of participants we find exactly what we have created: an absence.

So when you ‘pray’, it does not so much matter if god ‘exists’ or not, because, for you, in that moment, there is something happening inside you which science is utterly bereft of contact with. More: god is not ‘listening’ to your prayers… your prayers are becoming and invoking god.

Don’t get the important things backwards by pretending they can be verified… or should be… most of them require your participation to exist… in and as you and your mind… your participation… your opportunities and potentials.

God becomes god in the instant of your contact.
