We are drawn down into life one heartbeat at a time — from a heaven where most of what we are and may become is concealed. And well it should be. The explosive beauty of what is hidden would obliterate human culture entirely, should it ever be even partially revealed. And so, from time to time, it is thus revealed, and the world is rocked… and, too often, the vehicle of grace becomes the victim of human fear, arrogance, and certainty.
