There exists, as an intimate organ of our own minds and intelligence, a connective element, which, given the opportunity and the necessary support, is capable of developing into something that would not appear human at all, and would be able to field sufficient insight and effective intelligence to positively and immediately resolve any question we might place before it. This is, actually, our nature. We are fascinated with computers and technology precisely because we have utterly lost contact with these faculties in our own minds, lives, and cultures. Of course, this loss of contact isn’t limited to resources that would normally emerge in and as our own minds. We have also lost contact with each other, our health, nature, living places, and nearly every other crucial aspect of our human natures and potentials. How ironic that what we need to resolve the deadly perils we have created is precisely what was abandoned in order to start those processes.
