Use a separate, highly secure machine for any online financial activity relating to cash assets of any form. Never use any other machine for this activity. Never use this machine for anything else.

This machine is used -only- for this purpose. It does not receive email. Nothing is ever downloaded to it. Nothing is ever plugged into it (thumb-drives, etc.). No media is ever played on it.

It can be set up to be extremely secure, and these steps, while not absolutely guaranteeing security, will decisively prohibit many of the threats that we are about to see become explosively common.

These threats are vastly more sophisticated than users. They are at least as sophisticated as complexly engineered military assets can be. If you take no notice of them, you will feel their bite. Soon. And it will not be gentle.
