I did / dig this. I used to get the mag all the time. I typed in a proggy with my gf as the reader once only. I was older and busier than the author. It was a chess prog. The process, however arcane, was interesting and useful. And yes, we first had to type in the checkusm-checking proggy. Oh, the days of eld… where computing was, still, magic.
