The portion of the mind we are ordinarily exposed to and able to manipulate adeptly is, approximately equivalent to the thin edge of the fingernail of your pinky. Can you imagine, then, by analogy, what it is to experience the tongue or mouth? The ear? To -dance-?

It is strange that such a minute portion is able to masquerade as the entirety, but this is, in part, due to the bizarre field of expectation created by our immersion in modern culture and our relationships with existing ideas and technologies.

How fascinating that while we feverishly explore space, the sea, and the atom, we have largely ignored what causes our interest in them… to our great and lasting detriment.

After all, which idiot would willingly trade some prostheses for what they act to extend or replace as living senses?

Yet this is what we have, by analogy, done with our minds. And because this is so incredibly wrong, even beyond questions of philosophy or ethics… because it is so staggeringly misguided… it can be amended relatively rapidly… under the right circumstances and with a set of preparatory perspectives that allow progress and inhibit dogma.

The state of the doing of this we call childhood. We simply do not understand its power because as modern adults subjugated to toxic cultures we can only exist in its graveyards.

But we can release each other.

And the children will help us.
