I think it would be both ironic and ecstatic if instead of an apocalypse, we experienced a temporaclypse. This would not mean the end of time, as we imagine, but an impossible transformation of our conscious relationships with it, such that its entirety would be rendered transparent — but not in the ordinary sense… for time is an intelligent metamedia… transparency in time causes… actually, that’s something I probably shouldn’t discuss. Let’s just say it’s interesting beyond anyone’s capacity to imagine.

There is ample reason to suspect that the human relationship with and experience of time is on the verge of a catastrophic transformation. This is so unexpected a vector of change that everyone has just been… well, to be blunt… looking in the wrong direction: space. But what’s setting up isn’t a storm in space. It’s a storm in time. And that will change the basis of what it means to have a mind. Completely.
