Pundits often go around saying things like ‘never mind saving the world, discover yourself’. Not a bad idea, 1500 years ago; but they didn’t live in this situation. Right now, it’s about -save the world and every living thing-, and if you have some credo that says otherwise, I hope it will shield you from fire and feed you and become your planet, too… because this one needs help from the same species that is burning it down, and it needs it 20 years ago. And so do we. Every living one of us.
