I suspect that the best instances of human intelligence are wildly creative and inspired, but organized and sifted with skillful skepticism, testing, and perspectives that will tend to filter out the erroneous and emphasize the insightful. In short: our group intelligences require far more sophisticated critical thinking skills than they ordinarily demonstrate.
