There are, if you will, ‘footprints’ in the developmental history of our representational sentience of something not entirely unlike dinosaurs, and they belong to an advanced nonhuman intelligence.
It is possible to clearly identify not merely patterns, but transmissive fragments and relationships across and within languages (and characteristics of language) which strongly imply the direct involvement of an advanced nonhuman intelligence. Possibly more than one.
What I mean by ‘imply’ is peculiar: there is evidence of an inordinately advanced intelligence -at play- in these processes and their produce: human language and semantic structure. And it is almost certainly not coming from the human side of the equation — at least, not as we understand ourselves.
More peculiarly, similar evidence also exists in the early moments of our own childhood. It is as if our species underwent exposure to a nonhuman intelligence during its earliest developmental phases (as proto-humans?), and that we each correspondingly recapitulate these phases of development during our childhood. In other words: when we were little, we were familiar with one or more nonhuman intelligences… directly.
The actual structure of our intelligence… bears… something suspiciously like a signature… except, in this case, the signature, due to its incredibly peculiar nature, may actually lead directly to contact… with its source.
