I am actually sensitive to the signals I get here. Likes, comments… I notice who is paying attention, sometimes who isn’t… in some cases I may even obsess about it a bit… it seems quite childish, but there are explanations that would make sense of it…

…in any case, if you’re wondering why I might -not- have been paying attention to your posts lately it is because I have become overtly intimidated by the newsfeed’s lack of original content (that’s the nice way of saying it).

In fact, where I used to read it avidly, I am now beginning to avoid it actively. Thanks to those of you who have been posting original content… and for anyone who is wondering ‘where I went’, well, I just got scared of the newsfeed’s sudden plunge into schlocky memestuff… so I might not be seeing your posts.
