Intelligence, like the possibility of flight, is an opportunity — not a possession. If one has confused the possession of wings with flight, this tragic fact is only interesting in the same way a disease is interesting. Ironically, part of the disease is the ongoing public display of such ignorance, and the compulsion to recommend it to others!
Intelligence is something you -do-. Ordinarily, it requires fuel, and this fuel is partially comprised of habits of perspective, beliefs and expectations. In order to fly, you -=burn these in favor of discovery=-; constantly, and fervently.
The public parading of perspective, belief and ‘knowledge’ is analogous to chaining yourself to the ground while grandstanding about your incredible (and now fictional) flying activity. Can you imagine how this looks to those who are flying?
The sky is your birthright and destination; toss your anchors and return there. Nevermind beliefs. Intelligence is about -=discovery=-.
Your discovery, and ours… together.
Go. Now. Do.
