It’s hard to understand at first. But the government that exists inside you — the one that knows and uses your identity against you… this one is nearly always just as ugly as the those extrinsic governments that are laying waste to our world, our humanity, and our culture. Part of the reason is that our common experience of the extrinsic authorities deeply informs the models we use and from which we comprise our own intrinsic frameworks of authorization and authority.

Examine and reform the inner government.

And prepare for a series of shocks.
